I memorized 100 digits more today, and at a pub I stored these words: “Blogger recreates left-handed beer-stoup”, just in case you are left-handed đź™‚

I want to take the opportunity to use this one as an example of how to translate back to digits (see **The Method** to read about the technique.)

In Swedish this is: “Bloggare omskapar vĂ¤nsterhĂ¤nt Ă¶lstop”

Here I have marked the letters we translate to digits:

“BLOGGARE OMSKAPAR VĂ„NSTERHĂ„NT Ă–LSTOP”

In each word it is the first consonant, then the first vowel after that, and then the next consonant after the vowel.

So we have

Which translates to the digits

Let the sum of the middle digits of the two lines of each group be the last digit of the group. 0+4=4 and 6+0=6

Thus we have the final sequence of 86494 23196, which are the digits of position 2,990 to 2,999 in pi.

So, 3,000 digits done!
